Contrasted to beta reading, a manuscript evaluation goes beyond surface-level feedback. It pinpoints specific areas where your story excels and where improvements are needed. Based on this evaluation, suggestions for the next steps in editing are provided, such as developmental editing, line editing, or copyediting

Manuscript Diagnosis

Manuscript Diagnostic offers a thorough assessment of your story's first five scenes' strengths and weaknesses to help us determine the health of your manuscript. It will empower you to fix big-picture problems by providing actionable feedback and clear next steps, guiding you in taking your story to new heights. It pinpoints specific areas of improvement at the scene level and allows us to work on a tailored 1:1 coaching relationship to revise your story, giving you a sense of direction and control in the revision process. ​

Developmental Edit

Developmental Edit, also referred to as content, substantive, or structural editing, is the most thorough content editing.
